His comments come after the defender´s impressive display in the 1-1 draw against Stoke on Saturday. "I was proud of my defenders today," said Brown. "Michael Turner has been concussed for three days. That was an England performance." At an extremely foggy Britannia Stadium Hull had taken a first-half lead in the Premier League encounter between the two newly promoted sides when Marlon King fired into the top corner from close range after 45 minutes. The visitors held onto their lead for 25 minutes although Stoke upped their game in the second half. They ultimately battled back to grab a point when Ricardo Fuller converted from the spot. The draw with Stoke leaves Hull lying in sixth place in the Premier League. Phil Brown’s team take on Middlesbrough at the KC Stadium on Saturday at 3pm. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
