Brown said: "We have away days when we take the players away and have a chinwag about the future and the past. “Fortunately on the next away day we´ll have at least 20 points from ten games. That´s Champions League form. But we´ll not get carried away with ourselves." West Brom enjoyed a host of opportunities in the first half of yesterday’s match but Tigers fans had Boaz Myhill and the woodwork to thank for keeping the Baggies at bay. The visitors had to wait until the second half before breaking the deadlock when on-loan defender Kamil Zayatte scored in the 47th minute. Marlon King cleverly picked out Geovanni 15 minutes later and the Brazilian headed into the bottom corner, shortly before King hit the third. The Baggies were rarely a threat after that and Hull´s fifth away win of the season was secured. Phil Brown´s side are now level on points with Liverpool and Chelsea and only goal difference separates the sides. Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge today to take on Chelsea at 13:30. Hull take on Phil Scolari´s men at the KC Stadium on Wednesday evening in a 19:45 kick-off. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
