The Tigers followed last week´s win at the Emirates with a 1-0 victory over Spurs at White Hart Lane on Saturday. "We´re about three ahead of our points tally because we didn´t expect to beat Arsenal at the Emirates. We are ahead of schedule. It is dreamland," said Brown. "We will have lows. Our response to those lows is the key factor. But we defended manfully again and kept our work rate high. I love 1-0 wins. As a defensive coach they are fantastic to see. "I´ve never looked at the league table since the start of the season; now I´ll have to start looking." The win puts Hull third in the table, just three points behind leaders Chelsea. Three points were secured thanks to another stunning goal from Geovanni. After just nine minutes the Brazilian dispatched a free-kick into the top corner of the Spurs goal from 30 yards out. Despite the home side having plenty of possession after that the Tigers held out to make it ten points from a possible 12 on the road this season. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
